Recreational Soccer – Fall 2026

Our Recreational Program is the heart of Silver Spring FC, providing a fun, inclusive,

and pressure-free environment for players of all skill levels. To build strong

neighborhood connections, recreational teams are formed strategically within

our four community zones. This ensures that kids play alongside their classmates

and friends, making practices convenient for parents and games exciting for the whole

community. The focus is entirely on fostering a love for the game, learning

fundamental skills, and ensuring every player gets equal time on the ball.

Teams are organized in each zone — North, South, East, and West — bringing soccer

directly to your neighborhood.

All recreational teams are led by trained coaches committed to age-appropriate

player development. We also warmly welcome parent volunteers who wish to coach.

Parent volunteers receive professional training and ongoing support from the SSFC

coaching staff. As a thank-you, registration fees are waived for parents who volunteer

to coach a recreational team. Volunteer coaches must have prior soccer playing

experience at the high school or travel youth level.

Season Dates: September 7th, 2026 - October 25, 2026

Age Groups: U5 (2022) – U12 (2015)

🕒 Training Schedule

Mondays: 6:30-7:30 pm at White Oak/Cloverly Area

Tuesdays: 6:30-7:30 pm at Kensington Area

Wednesdays: 6:30-7:30 pm at Takoma/East Silver Spring Area

Thursdays: 6:30-7:30 pm at Aspen Hill/Wheaton Area

Fridays: 6:30-7:30 pm at Olney/Derwood Area

🗺 Game Locations

Games are played on weekends at local parks and MCPS school fields throughout the Rockville–Gaithersburg area.

Families who register two or more kids for this program will automatically receive a 15% sibling discount for the second and any additional player. Please email info@silverspringfc.com for a discount code if you have a child on our travel program.
